WBF is committed to the preservation of ecological biodiversity.

Ilorin Metro Park / Zoo

60 hectares of green and pleasant space celebrating the natural habitat of plants and animals, while providing educational and recreational space in the heart of Ilorin Metropolis; truly one of a kind, a Wellbeing Foundation Initiative.

Previously known as Ilorin Amusement Park , but abandoned for over 20 years, it had become a vermin and snake infested jungle harbouring a single crocodile and one roving donkey. it was known as a place to harbour miscreants.

The Kwara Wellbeing Trust has facilitated its re-creation as an oasis of calm and greenery, providing opportunities for recreation and ecological awareness, in addition to being a popular eco-tourism site.This facility has since been handed over to the state government.
