Mission Statement

Our goal is the total eradication of the poverty of opportunity by providing the means and access to self-generated development practices among our communities.

The WellBeing Foundation believes that there is something special in every African man, woman and child.

We are driven by a mission to inspire and encourage the development of all intrinsic qualities in our people to enable self development as a means of ensuring community wellbeing through our participatory model, multi sector approach.

We are committed:

  • To promote the development and communication of sustainable development strategies including those in the areas of health, education, social welfare, private enterprise, agriculture, safety and security, water, environment, sanitation and disaster relief strategies.

  • To facilitate human resource development in the area of capacity building and technical assistance in promoting the formation of sustainable rural and urban development projects in Nigeria through the establishment of Resource Access Units RAUs and Service Centres within selected communities.

  • To facilitate access to resources in areas such as water supply, training, global finance, micro finance, equipment, hard and soft technologies and logistics.

  • To promote and develop participatory monitoring and evaluation techniques and structure to advance data gathering and analysis to facilitate effective decision making on issues affecting rural and urban communities in Nigeria.

  • To encourage the adoption of democratic values inherent in civil societies through participatory development strategies.

  • To uphold full and transparent fiscal and financial accountability in the execution and attainment of our stated objective.
